Hi .  We're from Houston, Texas.  Keep the 'toon in a sling/lift at Lake Conroe, about 40 miles north of Houston.  I'm retired so I fish at least once each week.  Because of the weather here most weeks I go a couple of times year 'round.

Chautaqua is a beautiful lake.  I fished there several times.  I seem to remember a clock tower or a bell tower there.

I should have made this topic my first stop joining here but ole well.  I live in Lexington NC.  I was born and raised on High Rock Lake and to be honest I think a little bit of that old silt trap pumps through my veins.  I look forward being a member of this board.  Everyone seems very polite and helpful

I cannot believe this I have read all of the posts and it appears that I am the only person on this forum from Minnesota 'Land of 10,000 Lakes' actually it is over 14,000 but thats irrelivant.

I am from Alexandria, Minnesota it is in west central Minnesota. I have been a boater and a fisherman all my life. I have owned a couple boats but I just bought my first toon on April 12, 2008.

Darren, it just means you'll have to spread the word out there. When you get your decals, display them proudly, be our ambassador for the lonely pontooners up there

I'll do that. As soon as the ice leaves the lakes.  It's getting closer but there is still ice about 20-50 feet from shore now on most lakes.

From the Saginaw Bay Area of Michigan, Bay City to be exact! We spend most of our time on the Saginaw River and around the bay fishing, I wouldn't eat anything out of these waters  but it makes for a great time of catch and release! We enjoy our vacation time north of here on Otsego Lake.  Can't wait till it's vacation time!

I'd enjoy hooking up with you Motoon. However, I was at Bull Shoals last week and it doesn't look like we'll be boating there anytime soon! The lake is at record flood levels. It dropped a whooping 2 inches from Tuesday until last Sunday. Table rock looked about as bad when I drove through there too. Oh well, It has to go down eventually, I hope!

Old Hickory Lake a few minutes from Nashville TN...we're docked at Drakes Creek Marine in Hendersonville just upstream of what used to be Jonny Cash's place on the lake (fire gutted it last year).

Old Hickory has alot of great people, it's a fun lake to be on, and oh did I mention a long boating season.  I am originally from southern Ohio where the season is almost two months shorter.

Hot Springs Arkansas.  The small subdivision I live in has a private boat ramp to Lake Hamilton just 200ft from my front door.  I also boat on Lake Degray, which is 15 miles away in one direction, and Lake Ouachita, which is 20 miles away in the other direction.  Both are beutiful lakes.  Keep the boat in my back yard and pick which one we want to go to.
