[. I see you like the mopar forums, so I figure you come up with that nym for a 6 pack roadrunner (I one had 3 dueces on a 65 Pontiace GTO, loved that car almost as good as my 67 GTO)  [/QUOTE]

Thanks Charles, this is a cool forum, I have lots of questions about my fixer-upper that I'll post later, lookin' forward to hangin' out here and learning...

btw, I am a Mopar guy,   I do have a '70 Roadrunner 6bbl, its a project right now,  GTO's are cool too...

are you a Buick guy too?

Not really, but like the really vintage cars/trucks. One mopar I had I liked was the Dodge Dart 340 Sport, also love the 40-50 era Caddy's, never had one, but did buy a 1960 Jaguar 3.8 Mark II when I was stationed in England. Looked bad but rode very well for its age on those skinny English roads.

Just signed in yesterday..    We are in Westminster, South Carolina.  Moved from Charlotte, NC, before that Tampa, Fl which I thought I loved the most, but I can tell you, it's wonderful to swim and NOT worry about something nibbling, or worse.  Lakes we enjoy are Lake Keowee, and Jocassee.  Joined an Angler's club here and so far, we've caught 1 fish each...  after many hours on the water.  Obviously we have a lot to learn.  Later, L

Just joined today from up here in the frozen North. East Grand Forks, Minnesota. Spend time on Cass Lake, Andrusia, Kitchi, Wolf, and Lake of the Woods, all in Mn. Also go to Devils Lake in North Dakota occasionally. I do a lot of fishing while the family does the relaxation thing so I think the new pontoon should have something for everybody. Chat at you later.

I will have to keep an eye out to find out which moderator it is. Who knows, maybe we go to the same lakes as the Cass Lake chain is very popular. Sometimes it is a small world. I know because I met one of my neighbors 2 houses away at the lake.

Hello Sprinter(Scott) I am from Minnesota, I live in Alexandria. I haven't been to any of the lakes you mention as there are so many lakes here I don't need to travel much. Good luck with the flooding I hope the levees will hold.

Hi From Onoway, Alberta, Canada -  minutes  from some of the best Walleye, Northern Pike and Perch fishing in the world. Can't wait for the ice to leave so that I can get my 20 footer on the water.

First time pontoon owner here, living in Standish, Maine.  I'll be mooring the new toy at Sebago Lake, a ten minute walk from my cabin in the woods.

I just realized I've never posted on this topic.  We live in New Caney a suburb thirty minutes north Of Houston.  We also have a place on the San Jacinto river above lake Houston so we go there alot.  We head to lake Conroe and Livingston fairly often.  My favorite place when I have the time is Caddo Lake on the border between Texas and Lousiana.
