You were close. It is a 1963 Ford Falcon. It was my first car, handed down to me by my grandfather. He was the original owner... I have had it for 23 years and have recently completed a fairly large restoration of it. It still has the original straight 6, 170 engine with 27K original miles. I take it out every couple of months to take the family for an ice cream in it. It gets alot of attention...

Below are a couple of shots I took while on my maiden voyage. These don't have the new vinyl on, yet.

Cool clean looking toon! Did you replace the bimini top, if so where did you get it from? I'm looking for one just like it. In the same color.

It looks really really nice.  I especially like the rails painted the same cream color as the panels.  You really put a lot of work into it, and it looks very classy.

Yep, that's the one Rick, me and several others have posted over the years and its still the best for review on how to get it done.

Toon looks great. I like the way the little girl is sitting like a princess and the little boy is....well acting like a little boy.  It made me chuckle.

We were able to take the boat out this weekend, a little cool at full throttle, but definitely nice to get it out this late in the season. I think, we have about another month before I put her away until March of next year.

What - no PICS!   . Wife and I are going to try sometime this weekend even though weather forecast doesn't hold out much hope but we're bound and determined (might get wet and cold), maybe the wind will at least be somewhat calm (can only hope). Guess I'll get to try out the rain shield I got that hangs from the bimini. Doesn't look like PS is selling them anymore. It'll probably be our last run until I heal up from the surgeries by early spring.

We have a high of 79degrees tomorrow. I am going to try and talk the wife into another run on the lake. If we go, I'll post some pics...
