Charles I am thinking of Aug 7th/8th/9th unless someone objects. This would be before school starts but hopefully late enough that we have time to plan and everyone has their vacationing, etc. done. I am familiar with Brady Mountain Marina/Campground but I am sure there are alot more nearby. They do have a large ramp there and some rooms which are not luxury but clean and comfortable. Anyone wanting luxury would probably have to stay in Hot Springs and commute. There are other places on Lake Ouachita but I am just suggesting these because I have been there. Not saying it is the best just all I know. I plan to stay on my boat and there are over a hundred islands you can camp on (which I think would be cool to take one over ) but I realize there are some that do not or cant camp and need a hotel. Anyway I think this would be the best date unless someone else has a better idea.

Hey, you plan, they'll come , I'll just get it off the ground for you. Okay so I'll create another topic if the resort will be cordial with discounts. I'll start my phone calls on Thursday, as I'll be done with my migration project end of tomorrow (then just little piddly stuff around city hall) and I'm off Friday (hoping to mount the 115 this weekend). I'll follow up with a phone call to you either Friday or Saturday along with emails of what I was able to accomplish for ya. That'll be the day too I'll create a new forum topic announcing the get together in Arkansas if it looks good.

Anyone have any thoughts about Washington? (East side) Lake Chellan, Banks Lake. Summer time is really nice in WA. Thought I'd toss that out.

Steve, I moved your post to here (for general discussions of toon gatherings). I'm not sure how many folks we have from Washington state but its not many. If if there's enough interest for the area, we'll create a new thread to cover it. That sure would be great. We've had members trickle in from Washington state, but I just don't know how many are still around.

Banks Lake, In the middle of Wa. Steamboat Rock State Park. I think there are about 3 parks on the Lake, lots of great fishing and coves to check out.
