Awesome. Where are all the naysayers now that said it wouldn't float? Looks like it sits well in the water. Congratulations on a job well done!

Dan, it's truly amazing and beautiful.  I'd use the word 'awesome' except it's so worn out.  Ican't describe how impressed I am.  What a job you've done.  I'm a woodworker myself and I just can't imagine such an undertaking.  It's the most impressive piece of woodworking skill I've ever seen!  Congratulations.  It's beautiful.

Dan,

Like Judgepw I am a wood worker and wish I had your skills. That boat is truly a thing of considerable beauty. CONGRATULATIONS!

Joe

Thanks for all the compliments guys!  It was a wonderful feeling to have her sitting on the water as the trailer was leaving the ramp.  Sure was a long time coming.

I think you told me something like more than 10 yrs wasn't it? How much time you have in this? (I just remember it was like half a lifetime) and it shows

This October will be 12 years since I started the designing.  I actually started construction the following Janruary.  It certainly has been a long time!

Thanks again for the compliments on the boat and the launching.  I appreciate everyone's interest in her.

Yes, she is named 'All Spruced Up'.  (Her outer hulls started life as Home Depot spruce 2x4s)

My sister made a slide show with audio from my launch day.  I was touched to say the least.  Thought I'd share it with everybody.
