here is a pic of the pin extractor it will only remove the pins from the wiring harness not the switch panel.  It's the wrong size for that.

Time to install fuel filter,,,I will have two 18 gallon fuel tanks, one on each side of the boat with filter in middle. If I put a ' T ' on the inlet side on the filter and connect both thanks to this ' T ', will the tanks empty equally. Thanks  Ronney

I would put a valve instead of just the 'T' If one tank
runs out your motor will continue to pull from both
tanks and suck air from the empty one. Since Air is
easier to pull than liquid you will run into issues and
run very lean....

I am planning to use 2 tanks. Instead of useing a manuel valve. Go to the auto parts store and get a switch vavle for a 2 tank surburban. Than all you have to do is run a toggle switch to it. It would switch fuel sending units and fuel lines for you.

Should you go for a test ride before ALL is finished, OR what you think is all finished. I have seen alot of projects go uncompleted because they have started using them and not doing the finish work.

i would finish it first. Most of the projects that are used
before they are finished never get finished...

(Of course I would take it out against my own good
judgement)

I know I had little things still left to do, but I had to take it out for a test spin to see if anything else needing worked on that took higher priority (and it did)

Have a few more question for you old timers !!! I bought the wiring harness from PS they have a few connections that I will not be using, Bilge, Aereator, etc. My question is since I will not be using them should I just tie them together and tie wrap to a brace in the rear of the toon or add wire and run them into the helm to keep dry. Thanks::::

Depending on the connector that needs plugging/wrapping/tying up, find a piece or something similiar to a rubber cap, heat shrink it on, or plastic bag it and zip tie it out of the way or you can order these plugs that'll plug the ends of those connectors from here who supplies EZACDC with those connectors.

Thanks Charles!!! I think I am going to put the plugs that PS sent and heat shrink them, then wrap with tape and tie under the underskin.

Is it best to try and keep all water off the top on the toons???? I am putting on the underskin and was think of boxing in both the inside and outside of the toons. From the top of toons to bottom of floor braces with 3' flat bar.

I'd leave it so it'll drain, otherwise you'll have places that'll probably get wet and never dry, and if any odd ball screw or some other metal piece got in their to rust, you'd probably end up with a mess you can't see, after all you're in brackish water.

For a 56 inch wide underskink about how many bolts per braces would you think I need.
