katracer28 (Ronney) has indicated he'd like to host/arrange the next forum get-together and I know I'd surely like to go to it (because wife and I just love cajun food, especially boiled crawfish). So how many of you think next year you'd come to somewhere say Houma/Morgan City, LA area? Bring your coolers with you as there are plenty of places to get shrimp/crawfish etc a lot, lot cheaper than your local supermarket. Oh and there'll be more jambalaya of course (wait till you taste his recipe)

Wife and I will be there for sure. Course, we're talking a year from now.  Me and Ronney talked about several places to launch and so forth like accomadations (my wife requires a level floating dock and no stairs to anything). Course I'm wanting to get in some bay fishing too around the rigs and bayous for red fish and flounder. I'm gonna eat like there's no tomorrow so I come back to TN stuff to the gizzards with crawfish done every which way and talking cajun - Laissez Les Bon Temps Roulez!

I know where  a floating dock is, no stairs but a walk way with a slight down hill slant. Also has reserved parking right next to the dock.  It was where I put in when I caught that big red.  We do a lot of business at a local motel. I know I can  get a great rate.

Went by the two marina's that we will be using, pics will be posted soon.  Going in front of the City Council to ask that ALL fees be removed for docking during the FLOAT-IN. Sheriff Office will have extra water patrol boats out on our weekend for any help that may be needed, direction, advice on site seeing etc.

kartracer28, lets settle on a date please. How about Friday April 23rd to Sunday April 25th? Wife and I will come earlier as we'll need to leave on Saturday, its just too long of of drive for us to do in one go. I could do it when I was younger and I know my wife, she'll want to see her mother on the way back. That way the date should be far enough along to avoid any late thunderstorm activity (hopefully). Wife and I probably will be there say like Wednesday so we can go to Patterson, LA truck stop that had those fabalous shrimp po-boys (I still dream about them great po-boys)

The last 2 pics are  public docking, water and elec. THe first 2 are about 1/4 mile from the ICC. Both are in down town.  That is the ICC (Intracoastal Canel) that the brigdes cross. WCD for fishing about 2 miles from here is where they held the Bass Master Classice 3 years ago. BIG FISH

JUST THINK ABOUT IT!!!!!! Cajun Seafood Gumbo Fri. night,,,,,  Cajun Jambalaya and boiled Crawfish on Sat night. plus drinks ,,,,,ALL FREE OF CHARGE,,,, Yes it will be truly Cajun Cooking ,,,, you will be in CAJUN COUNTRY. Jamba. will start off with 25 lbs onions, 10lbs Bell Pepper, 10lb clerey 20 lb Rice and 35 lbs 40-50 count shrimp. COOKED BY THE WORLD FAMOUS JAMBA COOKER 'CUZ'

If there is any other cajun dishes that you all would like to try just let us know and we will see what we can do.

Thinking of having a fishing contest, and a crawfish eating contest, (no coonasses,,better known as Cajuns or part time Cajuns allowed in contest) WCD thats means you are OUT of the contest.

What about a 5 or 10 miles poker run on Sat morning????? We will have sight seeing questions for ea boat to answer and boat with most right answers will win a prize. More than likely the prize will be more food!!!!! LOL LOL

WCD,, stop  35 lbs shrimp. You know it is NOT worth firing up the pot for 35 lbs of crawfish. Eating crawfish is like eating turnips greens,,, no one likes them untill they eat some then they can not get enough!!!!
