Our first trip as a tri-toon. The added toon gave us about 2 more MPH fully loaded, and we used less fuel than we usually do, about 4 gallons less.

My dad and I installed the third pontoon on Friday, and tested her. Our usual Saturday morning trip was cancelled due to 20 to 25 mph winds from the North.
Sunday morning, we were greeted with 44 degree temps, and light winds.

anticipation. (are we there yet?) (no, I'm not sleeping)

The chilly air resulted in a slow morning. I didn't hook up until almost noon. The slot red that I did catch, I ran over with my yak. I pitched a Gulp at him, and he spooked. Threw it way out in front of him, and he turned and took it. I also sight-casted to a tailing little ugly around 24'.

My dad got into them with a spinnerbait. He landed four, with two being solid keepers. I remember the phone call well. 'You're dad is over here hammering the crap out of 'em'

Another great trip in the books.
The cleanup.

The cast. (toolman, Slingshot, abz400, bay chaser) (my dad is behind the camera)

Until next time.
