Yes sirree Gentlemen, A 'porkchop' in every can! Plenty of good, wholesome nourishment and it tastes good too! Wildcat has the instructions down to a tee, I think he may have watched me action, once .

once x 20 (at least) per day x 5 days straight in one 7 day week, so yeah, you could say I'm very observant, but more astonished at the mere fact the more porkchops you had the more harder you worked and the brain seemed to get lubed and more functional as you went . Thought I had the man stumped when that morning he asked me how I wanted the back section done (porti potty suspended over the electric anchor but still giving me access to the anchor winch), with a lid access to the fuel tank but all enclosed, but not quite like a sundeck. His face contorted as it was still before 9am (doesn't open porkchops that early), he pondered and studied and pondered some more, it wasn't until around 1pm when his painful expressions on his face was soon mellowed out with tasty porkchops (several by that time) and suddenly his face lit up - of couse Sean over at PontoonStuff saw this and decided pork chops must be good brain food, Jim quickly followed suit and before long, have the staff at PontoonStuff was more brain liberated while I remained befuddled as to what was happening (think that was the day I MASHED my middle finger). But by the end of the day, that back section was DONE. We didn't want to say beer on camera, so the code word ended up being 'would you like a pork chop' so the viewers of our video (whenever it'll ever get done editing it) wouldn't know we were referring to beer

Not a whole lot done this weekend-
Installed the new Fishing electronics and the lights, ran some cables, etc.

Measured for where the bait tank might go, still hashing on which one to buy.
Ordered 8 fishing rod holders, still trying to decide on where to place the house batteries (will probably get a pair of 6-volt golf cart batteries).
Little by little, getting there.

Finally bought a pair of 6-volt golf cart batteries. Wow, they are really heavy batteries.
Going to mount them on the rear of the boat, on the platform I just added. Will be right next to the motor on both sides.

I'll have to have them at a slight angle for motor clearance.
QUESTIONS:
I'll be running the trolling motor off these batteries, and the run from the batteries will be a little over 25 feet. I have the Minn Kota Power Drive 2 with CoPilot, not sure of the current demand, so my 1st question is what size wire to run, the 2nd question is how to connect to the trolling motor wiring (do I try to use a quick connect?), and the 3rd is concerning protection. I have a circuit breaker for the trolling motor, is that sufficient?
I will be running the other accessories off these batteries as well, but will home run everything. I want to install a battery switch, and optionally be able to charge the batteries when the motor is running. Any advice on this is welcome.
Thanks-

Pritch, look at the wiring setup I did with my battery switch, VSR and buss's, http://www.pontoonstuff.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=3724. I think it'll help with your wiring idea. My trolling motor is running a 10ga wire from the front to the console and although I do have a battery specifically for the trolling motor there (on a separate charger), I could have just as easily attached it to the positive and ground buss bars there to get its juice from the rear accessory battery. I ran an 8ga from the rear accessory battery (could have done it from the rear buss bar's) to the console buss bar's, total of 15ft. That way you wouldn't have to increase (which was impossilbe in my case) the wire size from the trolling motor to the battery as I stayed with the max 10ga that was already on the trolling motor. I assume you already know how to wire the 2 6volt batterise to get 12volts, but I'll post the pic for others considering something like this.

This is the system I put on my boat, the switch and VSR are both small and compact, easy to mount out of the way or wherever you want it. http://www.ezacdc.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=109

Thanks, WCD. I just ordered the components of that system, the ACR is just the ticket. I like the idea of putting a buss at the console location, sort of centralized. Your post cleared up my questions, thanks again.
