This spread is called Dinner which was Friday night at the Bretz Wildlife.

Its got me

Hey gator, gimme back that shrimp skewer!

Darren (darrklim2) and his dad Marty

From left side front to rear - Debbie (Rick aka rickdb1's wife), rickdb1 (Rick), Ty (Mr. Diesel), Leslie (Sean's girlfriend), Sean (Goldome14). From right side front to rear (as they appear in pic), Sherri (countrygirl and my wife), Charles (wildcat dude), Marty (Darren's dad) and Darren (darrklim2).

Rick getting evidence that I do on a few occasions drink - and only Heinenken when I do (usually 2 for my birthday, 2 on wife's birthday, 2 on our anniversary leaving 6 to spare for the rest of the year). I think last year I didn't have any at all. I never ever drink 3 at any one time and if I drink 2, my wife drives us wherever - don't believe in drinking more than one and driving anything. I've pulled two many busted bodies out and I could curl your hair if you get me started.

Next spread is called Wildcat Dude's tow #2. 1st time was by Brian (briankinley2004) when I ran out of gas at the Arkansas Get-Together, but at least this time I was at the dock when it died (bad starter - replacement on the way). So these pics like the others above are from Rick's view from his boat towing me. I also gotta say again, he and his wife Debbie, along with Marty and Darren (darrklim2) did a fantastic job and Rick seems to always be prepared for just about anything to help anyone around him plus he guided my pontoon right up onto my trailer even though other people kept cutting in and getting in the way - SUPER GREAT JOB. So here's my tow of shame again

crew hard at working trying to save the starter and get it going again.

However it was a lost cause and Rick is towing me to the launch area so we can get it back on the trailer. My wife did a great job of getting the trailer in position and backing in the water all by herself - great job - I was proud of her. I gotta teach her to drive the boat. Everyone eventually knew that I had some medical issues as I got overheated and my blood sugar dropped out on me after the cruise. I had started shaking but it was too late, but thought I was good since blood sugar tested at 72, but evidently it dropped as I past out once I got to the sofa in the lobby area and it took a while for my wife to revive me. Rick and Debbie helped my wife and Debbie said my wife was very calm while she prepped stuff to get me concious again (warm water and sugar since I couldn't chew my sugar tabs). I was good to go 15-20 minutes later but boy it was HOT but not as hot as home was. Thanks Rick and Debbie (who went and got me orange juice from McDonalds).

and here's my boat (bimini up), Goldome14's 28ft boat and rickdb1's boat in the rental slips

This spread is called Catering. Its pics from Rick's camera of our Saturday night feast and gathering of great friends. It was really nice to finally meet others whom we've only texted back and forth on this forum or through emails. Someday I hope to actually meet other members of the forum team Jenn (peppyjd) and Woody along with any other members who will be where they are .

Looks like a great time was had by all, even with the engine troubles! Hey Charles, any idea what that 'Do not touch the animals' sign means? Nah, I guess not.
I'm hoping I get to meet up with everyone one of these days myself.

I gotta say that even though it wasn't a big turnout, I had a great time. Met some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet and almost immediately, it was more like we were hanging out with old friends rather than new acquaintances. Even though there were some issues with the boats, it didn't stop us from having a good time and no one was stranded, so it wasn't bad. We all know when it comes to boats, something is bound to happen when you get a few together. So for any of those thinking about coming to future get-togethers, I'd highly recommend it. And again, thanks to all that were there and made this a big success in my book..

I agree 100% couldn't have hoped for better people, that I have never met, to spend three days with. It was great. The few boating problems were minimal and didn't take anything away from the good time. It just goes to show how life really is and everyone is bound to have a problem once in a while. Just think of that guy at the access that used your booster pack Rick. He would have been out of luck had you not been there to jump start his boat. That would have ruined his weekend. Just glad he didn't cause other problems learning how to drive his boat without hitting the dock and other boats.

He did talk to me later and he liked that recliner seat me and Rick has and wants one for that speed/ski boat but I told him about the other companies PontoonStuff has in its stable that should help him out. Thanks for the help guys, and I'm glad my starter didn't give out in the middle of the lake , but sure would have been nice if we could have got some night fishing in.

When we went out for the night ride, bout all we brought back was bugs in our teeth. But it was nice out and the stars were bright. Too bad that Pontoon boat that was coming at us with no running lights didn't visit EZACDC first. But he might now, seeing how the Conservation Patrol boats lights came on right after he passed us on the starboard side pretty close..

Agree that it was a great get together. Meeting everyone, though many were new acquaintances to me, it was more like getting together with old friends. It was so nice meeting everyone!! I had a great time folks!!! We have to do this get-together again.

To all who are tossing around the idea of attending one of these meetings I highly suggest doing it! It was really a good time, thanks to all for every thing! And as long as every thing goes as planned I will see you all at the next one...with my OWN boat
