Well, I've been absent for a while but hope to be able to post quite a bit more coming up.  I spent a lot of time sanding my panels because I really wanted to keep the original aluminum.  A friend is a paint/body guy so agreed to do the paint with me for the cost of materials.  Here's some shots of the prep work.  I'll take some photos of the finished paint job later in the sun.

Now with the primer/sealer on

Now that's starting to look really good . Is that just a base coat?

Yes.  We put two coats of finish on it.  I'll post pictures in a bit.

I need to also update my profile to reflect my new outboard.  I upgraded to a '97 Force 90 hp.

For some reason I can't take great pictures of this, but here are some showing the new paint!  I'll add some graphics at a later point (when I find some money).

That next to the bottom pic really shows the sheen of the paint, so I know it looks really good.
