Nice mess of fish. I caught a few this morning in my pond a little smaller than those. Couldn't get my toon in there

Since this area is called Toon Fishing @ It's Finest, Ill add shot. We went back to the same spot Saturday night and really got into the Catfish. We filled one stringer and had to get anohter one out and we filled it too.
I call this photo 'Too Many To Lift'

When we got back to the dock, I was amazed to see so many people out there fishing, or should I say trying to fish. There was a boat full of guys giving up. They had fished all afternoon and half the nite till thier boat conked out. Another large group was fishing at the boat rampps. Nobody was catching anything. I really enjoyed telling them, Well, I guess your gonna all need to get a Toon to get bring in a stringer like this. The Pontoon Crew was definitley the winners this weekend.

Sgt. Andy, what's the projected return date for you? Me and you (and the rest of our clans) need to go fishing somewhere, its a 10hr drive for me but I wouldn't mind too much

We went back out Friday night. Started a good run as we put 3 on the stringer in just a matter of minutes, however, it didn't take long for a huge thunderhead with giant lightning strikes all around us so we set those three free and got off the lake. We did managed to go back out for some time Saturday might and put a dozen more in the freezer.
FYI: Next time I'm going out is Friday. I'm going to try to start going every Friday evening.

If I was nearby, I would be there! I only like fishing when they are biting, and it looks like you have the touch!

Hey WildCat Dude, I like the way your thinking. Cant't give the return date, but hope to be in Florida a few weeks around the Holiday's and put our toon in the Christmas parade for my girls. they are all staying in florida with family while I am deployed. Then I will know if we are settling in NC ( Fort Bragg) or possibly GA. Fort Benning. So when things settle down maybe we can meet half way for a long weekend. I AM READY TO FISH!!
