Just picked up my long dream.....msrp of $70K with trailer...new from dlr, dealer had been looking at it for over a year....bought for $30K...250 Yamaha 4 stroke....runs 45 mph.....HAPPY..... factory 18m prop would run up to 6800 rpm and only 40 mph, changed to merc 21P and removed one rubber vent....now only runs 5800 rpm and reaches 45 mph and cruises at 30 mph at 4000 rpm with great mpg.

Be sure to post some pics of your boat(s) in the 'Show Off Your Pontoon' section (or rebuild depending if you have before/after pics), as we'd love to see them. Jim (administrator) and Andrea (pontoongirl) Myers (our hosts) have excellent staff members to help them help you find whatever it is you're looking for your boat and has excellent shipping and customer service. Have fun and happy boating. Be sure to edit your signature line to include details of your boat and motor so folks won't have to ask for it if questions arise later. It is an ALOHA, made in Arkansans. Lake Travis most of the time. I did take it to Lake LBJ two weeks ago for a week and just got back from Possum Kingdom for a week.
Lake Travis is 49 feet low.....I rented a slip at Paradise Cove Marina on Lake Travis this week so I could use her as no places to launch. We put her in off the bank. They gave me a pretty good deal, $250 monthly and no contract so if the lake comes back up I will get her out.

Lake Travis is my favorite lake in Texas. I used to live on the first cove north of Briarcliff Marina on the West Side up near the Y of the river. Enjoy.
