Well it's our first season as boaters, and I now know the feeling that you get when it's time to take the boat out of the water. Not good eh?

We did find a way to feel a little better though as we changed the enclosure on the front. As you can see in the photos, the original was a sloped enclosure which for someone over 6 foot tall made it a little uncomfortable when camping over night. As well, we were told that you could drive with that enclosure on, but I found that the windows faced more to the sky then straight ahead. I guess the final point was it was a pain to remove, fold and store on nice days. Not only is the new one alot nicer, it was made and installed on-site in one day. We have a few more projects we hope to get done before the snow falls, such as a ramp for the front and we also want to mount some PVC type tubes at the front to hold the beach stakes. Over the winter we hope to make a decision on solar power for the accessories and try to figure out how we can create additional storage. Can't wait for next season.

Have a nice winter everyone

Paul

that set you back if you don't mind me asking ? Why didn't you have 2 made
and send me one for my Birthday

I think your original 'camping enclosure' was actually a mooring
cover. They made both for these boats...I have the full enclosure like
in your #2 pic, and there is another boat here at my dock exactly like
mine and his has the mooring cover. The mooring covers for the
older boats are a bit less user-friendly than yours. Sometime soon I
will be putting the enclosure on for the winter...on a sunny day it gets
quite toasty in there.
