Hey all...its been a while since I have been on.

I have an older bass buggy. Had to have a new power head put on and they recommended to take the oil injector off and have me pre-mix the gas and oil ... the older injectors seem to quit on you without notice...any way that left me a spot next to me starter battery for a deep cycle batter for my new 12v minnkota trolling motor. We used it last weekend and all was well, however, due to high winds and a big blue cat that pulled a jug down for over 30 minutes at a time (thats another story), after some 2 hours I was out of juice.

Any way... I want to move my starter battery out to the splash shield behind the engine so I can put another deep cycle in parralle with the first for more juice and longer use.

I need a plate with brackets extending up towards the boat fencing to add stability.

I cannot find such a rig...anyone have any ideas???

thanks

Bob

http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/search.cgi . Search for battery. On page 3 I think this is what your looking for.

I actually went to the lake to fish and shoot pictures of the boat ... I keep the boat at the lake, 90 miles away ... and I forgot the camera...go figure.. the splash shield in question is to the right of the motor looking from the stern and towards the bow, next to the rail, so it's to the right and back of the motor. I will have pictures soon, if the weather holds....thanks for all that have replied and I apologize for not having the pictures available.

As you are sitting in pilots seat in boat, Port is to your left, Starboard is to your right.  Please just say port or starboard and it will be a lot less confusing.

I still have to say Never, Eat, Soggy, Wheaties. To remember my Directions I don't know that I can remember Port and Starboard.

Just remember that 'port' (which is left) contains 4 letters, the same number as 'left'.  'Right' contains more than 4 letters, as does 'starboard'.  LOL

Another one is 'left port' as in the ship left port.
