Hello Bru QC, welcome to the forums. Got a great bunch of people here. Glad to see you come join us. Be sure to post some pics of your boat(s) in the 'Show Off Your Pontoon' section (or rebuild depending if you have before/after pics), as we'd love to see them. Also tell us your story in How did you come to join the forums? (just click on the red link and tell us all about it ).  You probably did like a lot of us have. Looking for pontoon accessories and either found it through www.PontoonStuff.com ebay site or web store. Jim (administrator) and Andrea (pontoongirl) Myers (our hosts) have excellent staff members to help them help you find whatever it is you're looking for your boat and has excellent shipping and customer service. Have fun and happy boating. Be sure to edit your signature line to include details of your boat and motor so folks won't have to ask for it if questions arise later. Also visit our other sections like Where are you? so others will know what part of the country you're from. If you need any help editing your uploading your photo's, check out our primer here How To Upload Your Pontoon Boats Image, if you need help resizing them check out Software that helps you with pics & such. Be sure to review the posting rules and policies of the forum. If you have any issues with seeing photo's this link will explain it Issue regarding seeing photo’s on site. Please read all the posting rules. Some forums have additional specific rules for that category.

It looks a little small.  How big is it?  What are you planning on using it for?  Inspect the toons first, damage to the port toon deserves close inspection.  What brand and year is it?  It certainly is different looking.  Does it have a console or was it a tiller?  You certainly have a winter project to keep you occupied during the winter.  Good luck and keep us posted and keep the pics coming.

Thanks dahogman

I really not sure what year it is , but it has a sticker on it and it says 'Espadon'.

It has no console , I might built one too . I'll keep browsing the forums for ideas !

Thanks

Since you guys knows more than I do about pontoons , just by looking at the toons ,can you estimate what year it was built ? cause I'm clueless.

Thanks again

From what I can find, 1980-1983 is a best guess..

Hi Bru QC,

Welcome!

Looks like you have quite a 'little' project on your hands. Did the trailer come with it? Looks like it is for a jet ski. As long as that tube is not toast, you did alright. Lots of work and $$$ ahead of you. Somebody on this site has some small plastic tubes about this size under their houseboat. I would look into something like those if you desire a boat of this size. Might be a better investment and starting point than using these beat-up ones. A boat this size would make a great fishing platform. I can see you zipping around a lake with a nice big trolling motor, getting into those tight fishing holes. I would be afraid of going where there are bigger boats making big waves. It will be a very bumpy ride, as it is so small. JMWO. Good luck with your project!

I'm the guy with the modular pontoons under my PC.  They're 19 inches in diameter, which I am betting is about the size of these logs.

I'd pressure test those pontoons right away.  If they leak, analyze the voids and decide if it is worth it to continue.  If they're bad... write it up to experience and move on.  The remaining deck and rails aren't worth the effort or money.

If they hold air, then this could be a fun and interesting project.

Looks like alot of work but would be a unique boat when complete. I don't think I have ever seen cones on the front of the logs like those. Wish I could find a toon that size and price to refurbish for a floating duck blind.

that certainly is a different looking toon...the cones on front... hhhmmmm... that one toon looks like some pitting or something but I am sure that you looked close.  as long as they hold pressure, then should not be an issue...

lots of potnential!!! ..... a blank slate if you will....good pic up!
