1/8" with U shaped grooves. This carpet trowel is needed to properly spread our marine adhesive. All marine grade boat carpet has a rubberized backing that requires the glue to be spread out into "lines". The boat carpet then needs to be rolled out and compressed into the "lines" of glue for proper adhesion.
