Shipping is a flat $9.99. This is not $9.99 per item, but a flat rate for all items up to 15lbs. I know it is a pain when the shipping is as much as the part but it really does cost around $9.99 to UPS a single small item.

Plated to prevent corrosion and rust, large self tapping head to drill through aluminum cross channels.
Most new pontoon boat manufacturers use deck bolts as there is less of a chance the bolt will lift and create an uneven floor. However, bolts require you to pre-drill holes and crawl under the pontoon boat to tighten the nuts and we have sold tens of thousands of screws and never had a problem.
5/8" round flat head will not protrude into carpet.
